• Purchase of a piece, valuation for auction or insurance.

• In the case of a piece being placed for sale at auction; a sale through a gallery, individual or private collector

• For insurance or property valuation purposes

■  The Evaluation process does not only produce a file for the work of art or antique, but also a sale value, that takes into account the piece, artist and period, that may be of interest to the client.

■  Our Authentication Service is a major part of the work undertaken at EF&Partners Art Consulting. We work on each piece separately, and employ the techniques and resources necessary to each individual piece.

■  Authentication for Insurance purposes also includes the location of the work of art, what security systems are in place and what protection systems can better ensure the safety of the piece.

The necessary analysis of valuables owned will allow a greater rationalisation and targeting of resources for marketing purposes when you intend to sell either individual pieces or an entire collection.
